Alumni & Giving

Your generosity changes what's possible.

Your support fuels our students’ learning today and empowers them to make a difference in our community tomorrow.

What your gift makes possible

It starts with a student.

91×ÔÅÄ student Erin Callico.

“Knowing how tough grad school can be but also how rewarding, I would love to be able to help future 91×ÔÅÄ students like me.”

BS ’24, MS.SPLP ’26

Erin treasures the hands-on learning available through 91×ÔÅÄ and the support she’s had along the way, including alumni giving. Under supervision, she and others in the speech language pathology master’s program help people of all ages in the St. Louis community with comprehensive speech, language, cognitive and swallowing therapy services.

Build something with us.

91×ÔÅÄ partners with organizations across St. Louis on talent pipelines, training and sponsorship. When 91×ÔÅÄ’s mission aligns with a brand, it is usually an interesting conversation that brings growth and opportunity to our region.

Our Sacred Heart heritage

What they began, we carry forward.

91×ÔÅÄ was founded in 1872 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart, who opened a school in South St. Louis and kept it open through depressions, wars and moves across the city. More than 150 years later it is still a St. Louis institution, still supported by the families and neighbors who believe in what it does for this region.

Why I give
“91×ÔÅÄ had a profound impact on both of us, so we wanted to give back and be a part of the continued growth of the university.”

91×ÔÅÄ was the springboard for the Cohens’ burgeoning careers, their close-knit friend group—and their relationship. They launched the Stading-Cohen Scholarship along with their families only a handful of years after graduation. Already, their gifts have made a difference in the academic and personal lives of 91×ÔÅÄ students. They both understand on a personal level the difference scholarships can make.

Michelle Cohen, who was drawn to 91×ÔÅÄ’s community and academic program was grateful to receive financial assistance from several sources. “Scholarships definitely provided financial security, and allowed me to feel more confident in spending the additional time being a student athlete.”

Changing Laws: Interior Design Students and Alumni at the Capitol

Kerry Schuette, ’98, was a non-traditional student at 91×ÔÅÄ in the nineties, married, with two children born during her studies. Three decades later she is CEO and founding principal of VVELL Studio, a commercial interior design firm, that employs three 91×ÔÅÄ graduates, and this year she took six current students to the Missouri State Capitol to advocate for their own profession. The bill was signed in July.
